Naturism

Through fake drama, fake lifestyle, fake experiences - life has become a high-pressured virtual reality where the identity of the individual and its foundations of Values, Principles, Beliefs and Standards are under increasing pressure to fit into the thin veneer of artifice that we call modern society. A world where life itself has become fake and meaningless yet with increasing pressure to become a “follower” to fit in or be ostracised and left out. A thin strata that is increasingly focused on ego rather than identity and, as a consequence, becoming increasingly devoid of humanity. A state where people are becoming increasingly isolated and controlled by “communication” technology and social media, and Empathy, Compassion and Connection are at risk of becoming curiosities of a bygone era.

In such a world, where clothing has become a shield to protect the wearer from engaging with reality, the open, honest down to earth reality of Naturism and its ability to connect on a social, emotional and spiritual level is needed more than ever.

One of the remedies being promoted to counter the ill effects of modern day living is the simple act of “mindfulness”. Yet, naturism is a highly beneficial, effective and healthy antidote to the ills of society addressing all aspects of:

• Mental Health

• Physical Health

• Emotional Health

• Spiritual Health

• Family Health

Naturism is not just about shedding clothes, but more importantly about shedding ego. With it we shed the competitive and judgemental attitudes that lead to body shame in particular. They are replaced by acceptance - acceptance of others and of ourselves - just as we are.

The open, honest values of empathy, compassion, equality, integrity, tolerance and acceptance enable all who are willing to participate to gain from its benefits.

Club Naturel

Welcome to Club Naturel. We are a naturist swimming and social club serving the Norfolk & Suffolk area. We hold naturist swims every Friday and organise social events throughout the year, such as visits to beaches, landed clubs, and dining events.

For our swims, we use a private-hire pool near Attleborough, which also has a hot tub and sauna. Swim times vary depending on the week of the month. For the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month they are from 2 – 4 pm. On all other Fridays, they are from 8 – 10 pm.

The Embody Project

The Embody Project explores body perspectives in all people — male, female, young, old, healthy, physically challenged, differently-abled, etc — through environmental portraits of people naked, being themselves, real and honest and lovely and amazing in any shape or size. The intention of the Embody Project is to provide an opportunity for all of us to learn, grow, heal, and love ourselves right now, as we are, as unified and eternal beings in these infinitely diverse and temporary physical forms.
